Congratualtions to Steve Saunders for taking the outright win on the Beta Rev4.

Really wish my bike hadnt broke down now looking at the results, thought I was doing terrible after the first 10 sections but most were struggling by the look of it and I wasnt last for once. Steve making it look easy as usual, but even section 5 took 2 big prods off him and fives and threes for everyone else. Rode with Dean Basford again and in my book his was the best result of the day in the Expert class, sure he will be well pleased with the result.

Section 8 at Grove was horendous, jump from nothing through 2 trees with a big drop if you did nt make it,glad I only had to have a go once.

Typical beta quality shining through there

I hate retiring from a trial when its a good one

Ah Chriss, bust the fan sender after chucking the bike over me head on section 6 :beer: did nt realise it was bust untill 4 miles up the road and it spewed all the water out. Very slow ride back to the quarry holding the wires with my left hand to keep it going.

I didn't get many pictures at the Vale of Evesham because I was riding and my pal Neil was Observing, but here's one of section six on the easy route in Grove.

Exact same thing happened to me on my beta, However i found a paperclip in my pocket god knows how it got there, but when i got back, the fan stopped and i discovered my 12v adjuster unit had melted and had the lovely aroma of burning plastic.

moral of the story: buy a sherco :D
