January 27, 200719 yr So was it all down to beginners luck and, following on from Raga's win in Marseille, has Bou's Bubble Burst? It was Bou's turn to have a mechanical failure, although nothing major, but it does seem to have affected his confidence, as it affected Raga's in Russia. But can he regain the lead, in what is panning out to be one of the more exciting indoor championship in recent years.
January 27, 200719 yr I don't think Bou's bubble has burst but it does question the new 'no time to fix your bike' ruling. It would appear this has played a part in each of the 3 rounds so far with first Cabestany, then Rage & now Bou suffering.
January 27, 200719 yr I have to say that it will be a shame if the championship is decided on mechanical reliability rather than rider ability I think the constraints imposed on spare bikes and time to repair are rediculous!!!
January 27, 200719 yr I agree with the above and although i know that the bikes are being stretched to the limits it does seem a shame that they can't build a bike to last 10 sections or so doesnt it?
January 27, 200719 yr I'm not sure why i feel disappointed Raga is leading the championship. As for Bou, if it were me i'd be looking at the mechanics and seeing which one is up to be FIRED!!.... would take his mind off the ride if he went on a witch hunt . Assuming Bou didn't suffer any injure he'll be on top next round mark my words. The rules i'm not bothered about, all riders are in the same boat and to me its fair, so stop whinning about them
