hello every one im a first timer on this site aswell as on a trials bike i bought a 2000 beta rev 3 4 months ago after saving enough money then 3 weeks later it broke down and needed

Hi Andy, what went wrong with the bike?

The Betas are normally very nice bikes, and almost as reliable as the hondas. The 2000 bikes do have the disadvantage of USD forks, but this probably isn't a massive problem. If the bike is now absolutely sorted then it is probably not a bad bet to keep it, it will last you a few years without too much routine maintenence.

hi guys thank for the replies the problem is theres no spark the garage tried the coil but wasnt that but they said somethink behind the flywheel and to get it fixed they want

i no thats why its still a non runner got someone looking at it friday so hopefully be cheaper how much do you think it will cost ? thanks they said it was the fly wheel generator/ecu unit somethink like that !!!!!!!!!

Andybetarev3 it sounds as though it is the stator that has

gone on your bike to me this is a common fault on

earlier beta's tell your mate he wants to send it to

west country windings i have used them myself

and they offer a good service and quick turnaround.
