Does any one know if the rear shock on a 03 sherco is rebuildable as petes is making a strange squishy noise on rebound but is still damping. suspect power washing caused the problem. if it comes down to it and a new one is needed will the 04 fit ,heard its longer but a better shock. cheers lads.

Same length I think, I do believe Falcon can repair them.

Check that the bearings and also there seals around the shock area are ok and working fine. There could be a lot of water in them and when you push the shock down your pushing ou the waterout of the bearings. But this is only a guess.

cheers nigel.im using the strange noise in my shocker as an excuse for my resent poor riding. ill get the shock taken out and see if i can see a problem if not ill get it sent away.
