March 5, 200719 yr Hi, have a 1995 works with a 290 rotax engine. Can anyone tell me where the drain plug is for the gear/clutch oil. Can see fill hole on cluth side but thats it. Steve
March 6, 200719 yr Just thinking back too my Scorpa Easy with a Rotax engine and I think you may need too undo the rear two sump gaurd bolts and perhaps loosen the front ones and all shall become aparent. If this is the case too make it easier in the future it could be worth drilling a whole in the sump gaurd for easy oil drainage
March 6, 200719 yr Testing the memory a bit, but is this not the engine where one of the bottom bolts in the side casing doubles as a drain? I may be wrong (and I'm sure someone will point it out if I am) but nothing lost if I am Cheers
March 7, 200719 yr Well if this is any help, my 97 Rotax engine Scorpa had the drain plug on the left side and toward the bottom under the shift lever. I could remove it with skid plate on....just barely. Of course tranny fluid run out the back of the skid plate.
