March 18, 200719 yr Nice one Tim, I spotted mary Driver on her Greeves HWC 24 in there. That very same bike is just one mile from my house! A friend of mine owns it now.Great old film. Big John Big John,I pick her out immediately as well, (lady rider) I was thinking it may have been HL !!!
March 19, 200719 yr Author Did you guys find the Hawkstone MX video (film?). Brilliant stuff. Where did motocross go wrong? Trials and enduros have some great people involved. Down to earth, normal people. Everybody in MX seems to think they're the next W/C and couldn't be a***d to give you the time of day.
March 23, 200719 yr Great stuff! Imagine riding an event today wearing a cap with cigarette hanging from your mouth. My grandfather was riding scrambles back around this time. Its interesting to see the motorcycle world of my dad's dad 50 years ago. He apparently also rode sidecar scrambles with my grandmother as co pilot. Wouldn't mind betting they were in one of those videos.
