I am having troubles with my beta 125 which we think might be down to the coil could anybody tell me weather i could use the coil from my dads 290 sherco to test if this is the problem.

All depends upon the years. If they are both Ducati ignitions it may work, but not sure if they are the same.

the sherco is an 05 and the beta is an 04

Jack, I cannot even recall which ignition the Beta is running on that bike, but I do not think the coils are the same.

You should be able to pm or e-mail RON for assistance and recommendations, he is the Beta importer here and is quite knoweleggeable on them! (Don't tell him I said that, big head and all!)
