I'm looking to tidy up the paint on my tlr 250, without going the whole hog of a full tank paint job or frame respray. Does anyone know any references , say for a well known retail park motor accessories shop?

Thinking:

Frame (which is more orange/red than red)

Swinging arm and stand

Tank - red, white and blue

Also, has anyone had a go at painting the standard plastics without going to a paint shop? Again, sny ideas on paint type/ colour etc? I realise this may be the way to go but if it's easy I'll have a go myself. I seem to remember painting a radio controlled car polycarbonate body pretty well.
