Does anyone know of any good free software for transfering music on my Ipod back onto Itunes on my laptop?

Can I assume that the laptop wasn't the original computer that was synced with the iPod?

Is the laptop Mac or PC?

Had laptop (windows XP) problems and lost everything including itunes. However I still have my ipod full of tunes.

Its not a new laptop I ended up re-formatting it. You cannot normally transfer from ipod to pc. This is probably due to copyright restrictions and the fear of being able to mass copy music.

There are about 4 billion websites that will tell you how to transfer the music.

Oh!!!! I have a collection of Soft Cell albums you know!!! Goes with all my eighties classics. Got to admit I hate Bronski Beat tho, and as for Culture Club I desperately want to club Boy George to a pulp every time some misguided soul puts "Karma Chameleon" on!!!
