Cracked Fork Axle Clamp

Featured Replies

I have a Scorpa 1999 Easy, great bike but I have a cracked fork boss at the axle clamp. I live in Ventura California and am basically alone for trials riding pals. Does anyone have advice on this problem, I am planning to have it welded and hope for the best. Also any instruction for removing the lower end of the fork?...........learning as I go. Does anyone have a supplier for affordable replacement forks??

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob, I have a friend who may be able to weld that up for you, send me an email with a photo if you can or better yet let me see it. I work in Moorpark so Im not to far from you. If welding looks like it will not work try getting in touch with Adrian at Lewisportusa .com

That sounds great!, trials people are the best. I work in Moorpark but I am off for the next two weeks. I have a new front tire coming in and just need this clamp fixed. I would love to ride with you guy's once this bike is back up. I can bring the bike to look at anytime.

Thanks Bob.
