Cam Chain

Featured Replies

i want to adjust the cam chain on my TLR 200 Reflex any advice guys thanks Trevor

This is taken straight from the 1986 TLR200 REFLEX service manual

CAM CHAIN TENSION

Start the engine and allow it to idle.

Remove the rubber cap and loosen the cam chain adjuster bolt.

When the cam chain tensioner adjuster bolt is loosened, the tensioner will automatically position itself to provide the correct tension.

Retighten the adjuster bolt and install the rubber cap.

Torqu: 15-22 Nm (1.5-2,2kg-m, 11-16 ft lb)

Note: do not loosen the 6 mm bolt.

The adjuster bolt is located behind the cylinder.

Hope this helps.
