.. just been informed by by my "Team Manager" that this Sundays Pre 65 Inter Centre Team Trial at Mow Cop near Stoke has fallen to the foot and mouth outbreak. Apparently, several farmers whose land was to be used could not take the risk of the virus being spread by riders coming up from where the new outbreak has occurred.

Bad news for the event but a wise precaution. Fingers crossed everyone!

I agree with Scorpa 3, We must respect the country side and help all we can to prevent any more outbreaks.

We then will be respected in the future.

sorry to bump an old post, i've just herd on the grape vine that the event is on again on the 1st weekend of December.bit of a blower as that the date of our big pre65 trial ....

can anyone confirm this / give us some info - if its still at stoke that's 200 miles away so we won't lose more than 16/20 riders (20%) and maybe some observers

Don't know for definite that it is on, but chatting to Pete Salt at the last Miller trial he said they were looking to try and run it again soon. Not sure of the planned date but the venue will remain at Mow Cop, near Stoke

Why is every event either for modern or so called Pre65. Seems to me Twinshock takes a back seat every time in my eyes
