swmdave Posted September 15, 2007 Report Share Posted September 15, 2007 hi all can anyone tell me what the ign timing should be on a 280 watercooled engine, in mm btdc please. i've just found that the ign coils on the inside of the rotor cover had come loose. hence it was backfiring and obviously wouldn't run . iv'e set the coils in the middle of the adjustment limits, and got it running, but would like to get it right before using it again.....many thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
