When I was looking I didn't find one book covers all - if you're looking for 2 stroke there's a good book on villiers engined bikes which pretty much covers all the 2 stroke ones. Not sure about the 4 strokes - might have to go for individual books - depends what you're after really. I found motomerlin ( I found them via ebay) have a good selection.

all based on p 65 trials by that i mean british trials before 1965 not the present p 65 trials bikes or riders

that little lot (if you can find them) should set you back at least 150quid.. i suspect if you started from scratch you might find them all inside a year..

Let us not forget British Trials Motorcycles "The Men and Their Machines" published by Bruce Main-Smith and captioned by the late Ralph Venables.
