Could someone please tell me what Yamaha Model the Scorpa SY250 Engine comes from?

    I think that engine was designed for the TYZ specifically but i'm told it wasnt

    anybody know ?

    I was under the impression the motor is based on an older YZ 250 motor, that would explain the long kick starter. I'll do some research.....
