October 11, 200718 yr It is with regret that the Hillsborough Club have taken the decision to cancel the penultimate round of the Classic series - The Hillsborough Classic , which was to be held on the 28th October .This is due to the concerns of the farmers, who are aware that this is a national event and the small risk posed by the fact riders will be travelling from across the country. This is not a decision that has been taken lightly but we have kept in close contact with the farmers over the last few weeks and have held on as long as possible before taking the decision in order to see how the situation evolved. We have reached a point where it will be difficult to run an event to the clubs own high standard with little time to prepare the sections. October 11, 200718 yr As its the Peak the following weekend, any news as to whether this will run or not. Do not wish to book a hotel if not required.
October 12, 200718 yr Very disappointed as it's a great Trial one of my favourites. But we are taking about the farmers livelyhoods and they are the folk who provide us with the land we use
