November 28, 200718 yr The Lancaster will last longer for your money! Give her a makeover and she is good for another decade or two. Can't say that bout the wi-------, well nevermind! The Lancaster is always exciting to fly! Cant say tha-----------------------, well nevermind! Only cost about a half million quid for the Lancaster if you don't contract out too much of the work! Much cheaper in the long run!

If you get one, try and modernise it a bit, replace all the nuts and bolds with titanium ones, you could probably fit some modern wings inside the originals, and Boeing do a tuning kits for the engines, replacement barels, electrics etc, then it should be a bit more competative in Pre 45 bombing sections.
