Can anyone please tell me if the "Hydrobag" original shocks can be stripped-down to be refurbished ?

    Hi there zulu,

    I have a Cota 348 with hydrabag shocks. I stripped these right down, they are rebuildable if you can get hold of the correct seals. Bag is split on one of them so will probably seal off the bag area and use without the bag, or just buy new ones!

    AFAIR, they are rebuildable. The bag used to go when they were newish. A rebuild would sort it.

    Cheers guys - After a tin of "penetrant spray" some heat and home made spring compressor (Tie-Down Straps) all is good and a rebuild is in progress, bags look good. Any idea how much fork oil to add ? I might have to go the `trial and error` route. Many thanks once again.
