June 25, 200422 yr Is it sh!t or bust for dougie this weekend, if he doesn't win is the fat lady practising her octaves? My prediction is he does the biz and stuns fuji who starts to wilt under pressure, I hope.
June 25, 200422 yr Isn't this a one day event, not two? I don't think this event is the make or break, but Dougie really does need a win to get back some points.
June 25, 200422 yr Isn't this a one day event, not two? I can confirm this weekend will be a one-day event on Sunday, as will the Spanish Round in Puerto Pajares on the 25th of July.
June 25, 200422 yr Why only 1 day for the couple events coming up?? Conspirisy (spelling?) theories abound!!! If ya cant beat em , change the rule maybe??
June 26, 200422 yr I Dunno , I think Fuji has had enough of having to see the " Doug Lampkin #1 " sticker on his gas tank ! Keep yer fingers crossed !
June 27, 200422 yr Author Fat lady knows what the tune is...............Come on Dougie, have a few days off then double win next week, go on my son!
June 28, 200422 yr I'm not sure (too lazy to work out) how the points work. SO...can someome tell me...CAN Dougie still win??...he's now 15? points behind Fuji. I for one hopes he still can..and hopes he still does...Go for it Dougie!
June 28, 200422 yr 1st 20 points 2nd 17 points 3rd 15 points 4th 13 points Fuji 193 Raga 179 Dougie 174 Cabestany 141 If Dougie wins all 5 remaining days with Fuji second Dougie will not win. I think if Dougie does not win the next two days he season will be sunk if Fuji places ahead of him at those days. Better start learning Japenese.
June 28, 200422 yr The young spaniard could still manage a Indoor / Outdoor double. Lots of dry rocks and big steps coming up, and we know he likes that kind of going. Too close to call at this stage me thinks
