hi looking for infomation on 99 txt280 any comon problems with bike i should look out

By '99, the TXT's had been in production for a few years and they were very good providing the owner kept on top of the maintenance.

I had one new and it was faultless. The rear suspension bushes were dry from new, so I stripped and greased them before the first trial and sealed the air box as best I could to stop water getting in.

Like any trials bike that is eight years old, it might have been abused but a good one will be reliable and competitive.
