Hi, I'm going to be making a twin pipe exhaust for my TLR200, IE an out let either side.

Now then has anyone on here done this ? I have seen a bike on a website that has one and it looks quite good.

But my main question is , if college haven't got a pipe bender where could I get one to bend the two bits of pipe? And roughly how much would one cost ?

Here is a quick drawing of the way I was planning to do it, does it seem ok ?

I was thinking of using an old car exhaust with the ends plated and welded (the long bit of a car exhaust, not the silencer) for the "collector box" and I have some pipe here for the out lets, If I bent it round the inside of the shocker and then had it going to where the frame arms stop would it work ?

Now I need to ask; Why do want to add extra weight to a trials bike ? If you just fancy a bit of special bike building why not get an old superdream or something and express your ideas / talent on that. Then sell it for a profit (hopefully)

one of those benders wont bend thin wall pipe it will just kink dont waste your money leave it alone cos if you dont get it right it will look s--te

Mine works fine on thin wall as long as A; its good quality pipe B; its heated properly C; you dont go past 45 degrees. They do take a while to master but once you get the hang of them they're invaluable.
