January 23, 200818 yr Has anyone done this and does it make much of a change. I have heard that the bore walls get pretty thin? Thanks
January 24, 200818 yr Not sure but, I have one in the barn that is getting close to getting dragged out . Supposed 200 , was told that the pistons were unobtainium , but maybe rings . Some discussion would be helpful .
January 24, 200818 yr It's not just a bigger piston job to get to 200cc. You need a bigger cylinder sleeve, head machined and also crankcases machined for the bigger sleeve. Various pistons are available. Some pistons require a spacer under the barrell. Some pistons need the gudgeon pin holes bushed down. It's a big job. Are you still keen to do it?
January 24, 200818 yr They are available HERE?,Idid think about it myself but not sure if it would knock out the mains,I think they could also be on the limit, like no more rebores, but not sure. Edited January 24, 200818 yr by Andy.T
January 24, 200818 yr This page mentions a 200cc kit. Their website is a little sparse and I didn't see anything else about the 200cc kit, although a call or email would sort that out pretty quickly.
January 28, 200818 yr Hi, These kits are 68-69 mm bore. You can even go to 70mm with the original sleeve. Regards
