February 18, 200818 yr I have a 92 pinky mono, the rim on the rear wheel is badly corroded on the inside, as Z spokes are hard to get I want to get another wheel but with traditional spokes. Talon have their own TY hubs(using trad spokes) and could build a wheel for me, the problem is that they are unsure if it would fit the pinky. Are TY wheels interchangeable regardless of whether it's an old TY hub or a new pinky hub? thanks.
February 18, 200818 yr Nigel Birkett had some Z spokes made so may have some. He will also know whether the rear wheels differ from Pinky to earlier model (they don't as far as I know)
February 18, 200818 yr Hey Jer Got a Talon hub in the rear wheel of my pinky. Think you will find all ty mono swingarms are the same. While your at it get a Tubeless rim fitted as part of the rebuild, more choice of tire. Got a tubed rim on mine at the mo,with an IRC fitted but cant stop the dam tire creeping on the rim Edited February 18, 200818 yr by pitley
