Hi just wonder if anyone can help. I had the scorpa 98 easy out the other day. all was going well and had a good couple of hours ride. when she overheated. I let her cool down and returned to the van. The fan works all the time when the bike is running but it just seemed like a head gasket or O ring had gone. with the behaviour of the bike. Any one have any ideas what this could be before I strip off the barrel etc.

Maybe losing antifreeze or pressure? Wonder if the radiator cap's bad or not sealing? The system needs pressure to stay cool. Lose the pressure and it'll over heat.

Have you topped the water up recently, did it do it the once or is it constant? my easy spewed its water out on a steep hill then it setteled and was fine ( very worrying at first )

Forgot to ask are you useing water or motorcycle coolant?

hi guys it was coolant. yep I did check the level in the radiator and top it up before going out.

thanks for the advice I think I might just top it up and try it again maybe warm it right up in the yard before going out on it and see if the water and coolant stays where it should!
