Hi, new to all this, I've just got my hands on a Montesa Cota 200 and this bike has a chrome frame and swinging arm, the engine number and frame number match, does anyone know if this bike was made like this, and what the worth of the bike is. It's a 1980 Montesa Cota 200 in very good nick.

I think all Cota 200s had red frames. I don't think Montesa ever offered a chrome frame on any of their twin shock bikes. Silver paint maybe, but not chrome...

Both series of Montesa Cota 200 had red frames. Montesa never sold a chromed frame, but the Cappra Metisse. And those bikes were Rickmans in fact.
