April 23, 200818 yr Just spotted this on eBay, may be a perfectly plausible reason for someone breaking a 2007 Rev 3 ........ just seems a bit odd though !! Ebay link Martin
April 23, 200818 yr Could be this one.............Insurance claim initiated ???? That's rare.. a Rev 3 with no ignition problems Edited April 23, 200818 yr by HAM2
April 23, 200818 yr The persons autioning this bike are a legitimate breakers company,so i would suspect nothing dogy
April 23, 200818 yr It's certainly fire damaged and of course George Morton's bike had that happen last season, could be it. Is that a registration number chalked on to the exhaust tail pipe? Big John
April 23, 200818 yr You'd like to think that a professional breaker wouldn't be stupid enough to advertise by picture a stolen bike to such a close community as the trials world but then again it does not seem that long ago that a breakers run by an insurance company with a very large stake in the motorcycle insurance market was found to have the number plates from dozens, if not hundreds, of stolen bikes lying in the corner of the shop.
April 24, 200818 yr CX57FKM was first registered in North Wales on the 1 Dec 2007 and the tax stopped on the 13 Feb 2008. Looks like a fire in the engine room - but not quite up to the youtube demo. Unlucky!
