Guest olly_sherco Posted January 5, 2004 Report Share Posted January 5, 2004 Just take the stand off altogether. That is what I usually do, I can't stand them. There are always plenty of trees, banks and rocks about to rest the bike against, and if the worst comes to worst just turn the petrol off and lay it on the floor. Your remove weight, and you also don't have to hear the stand knocking against the swinging arm when you hit some of the bigger stuff hard.
