I am trying to find the builder of a frame which i have for sale on ebay it has an X stamped on the headstock and a frame number begining XG 25**4 any help would be appreciated

    Ariel road bikes had frame numbers with the XG prefix from 1939-1941. Its likely that a previous owner has had a log book from one and stamped the number on the replica frame so it can be used on the road.
