2005 Scorpa - What Are They Like?

Featured Replies

Im a Int/Exp and like to ride the odd clubman national but thats as high as I go. I have a pro at the moment but I am thinking of a change. Is the Scorpa more of a clubmans bike eg slow response, dull power compared to others or does it have the 'go/response' of the other bike??

Trialsboy48,

The best thing about a Scorpa is it can be taylored to your riding style. If you have your dealer put on a heavy flywheel and a slow throttle the bike is very well mannered. With a light flywheel and a fast throttle it is very fast.

Just over here in france - looking at the GasGas 250, Sherco 250, Scorpa 250 test in moto verte, and they have dyno charts - the scorpa wins on 19.1hp, sherco on 16.7hp and GasGas on 15.7hp. Flatest torque curve too - I,ll scan him in when i get home.

Sounds like more than enough to me.

Now thats not skewed in favour of the Scorpa is it, what a French mag supporting a French bike, never!

KTM 400 - 42hp

Wouldn't fancy riding a KTM in a trial either
