What's it like in Europe?

Can it find addresses on Industrial Estates via Postcode?

Does it go the sensible way?

I'd go for the tomtom.

Sat nav's arn't the God people like to make them out to be,they can take you some strange way's around sometime's country lane's,river's, railway track's.

I would'nt trust them to take me from one end of the country to the other,i just use mine when im close to my destination and then let it take me in.

As long as your postcode is right it will get you in the right clump of building's so you may still need to search for where you want to be close by.if you dont have postcode you can punch in the town and road you need.There's alot of other feature's on the tomtom that come in quite handy.

There a usefull tool to have but don't let it take over your brain.

Can't help you with the bluetooth or europe bit,sound's like your going for top of the range job,i've got the peasant model.

TomTom is great for me out visiting new customers. The only time I have a problem is when they have a PO box number and the postcode has you driving round their local post office for ages...

I am funny though, I still do not buy a phone tp take pictures, nor a DSLR to take movies, nor a GPS to talk on the friggin phone! Nor a phone for Gps! I could go on! Oh, hell with it!

It's illegal in the UK to use a handheld mobile phone when driving. If I used a phone regularly in the car I'd get a parrot but from experience I know they can be flakey at times. Just looking for something that means I don't have a million wires knocking round in there all the time.

The Sat Nav features seem fine ... just need to be careful when it takes you down a narrow country lane. Seems good to pick up and get you back on track when you deviate off the route.

Traffic option doesn't appear too fantastic (as with most I understand). Needs it's supplied aerial plugged in to work. I've not experienced it diverting me due to traffic problems.

The Bluetooth seems good. It seems it only supports really basic stuff on most phones, but I've used it quite bit and it seems to pair okay, answer and make calls just fine.

Also, it can store music. Tune the car stereo into the right frequency and you can get it's music and traffic directions through the car stereo.

Another feature I particularly liked about this model is that it speaks road names which is much better than simply "turn left"
