Tlr / Rs Exhaust Systems

Featured Replies

I have a RS200T with a near perfect RSC exhaust system that I don't want to worry about trashing when I ride the bike so I intend to take it (and other precious bits) off and replace it with something expendable.

Does anyone know if the standard TLR200 system will fit the RS200T or maybe a WES?

Jim

Simple answer,NO, the RS 200t and RS250t model use a unique silencer system,up the right hand side as you know

best to get an aftermarket Wako ,made for the bike

The RS250ta uses a TLR rear silencer.

Hope this is of some help.

Hi Mike,

yes that is a help thanks. I have bought a stock TLR exhaust to replace the aftermarket one currently on my RS250TA and I will have the aftermarket one adapted to fit the RS200T. I think the one currently on the 250 could be a Wako - it's all alloy and has 3 parallelograms of decending size on the rear box. The other alternative is to sell the one currently on the 250 and buy a Wako for the RS200T but where can you buy them?

Cheers,

Jim

The TA one will be difficult to modify, first it is on the wrong side, middle box may be a problem, front pipe inlet will certainly be in the wrong place / angle

remember the RSt frame is narrower, especialy where the centre box fits
