While taking apart my top end this weekend on my 2002 290, I noticed the intake ports are not quite lined up. Has anyone gone through the effort to clean and match the ports on a Sherco and is it worth the effort?

    I can tell you that my '01 was a WR bike and it was ported.

    I haven't taken it apart to measure it up and check it out, but I can tell you it is a LOT different.

    It makes more power throughout the RPM range.
