August 16, 200818 yr Folks, We are in the final stages of forming a new Trials Club in the Charlotte Metrolina area. The web site: http://metrolinatrials.com/ is almost finished (should be operational in a few days) and will have all of the information about joining the club, event schedules, competition classes, awards, etc. Our mission is to promote the sport of Motorcycle Observed Trials in the Metrolina area, and hopefully introduce many new people to this great sport. We plan to have two events this year, one in Monroe, NC. and the other in a new area in Spencer, NC. (the property borders the new High Rock Racetrack) We have high hopes for the club, and are planning fourteen events in total next year, some of which will be co-sponsored with the CVOTC club centered in Virginia. Modern competition classes will include Novice, Intermediate, Sportsman, Advanced, Expert, and Championship. We really want to embrace the Twin-Shock folks also, and are planning on Modern Twin-Shock, Historic, and Pre-Historic machine classifications and sections at each event. If you are in the Charlotte Metro area and have an interest Motorcycle Observed Trials, whether to compete or to just learn more about this exciting sport keeping checking the web site, more information will be added daily as we get up to speed. This club, like any other, is all about the members and their support; come join us and help us make this one of the premier motorcycle trials club in the country!

We need the interest and enthusiasm of riders in the area to make this thing work. Check back in to the web site early next week, we should be ready to start getting people registered and up to speed on what is going on in the club. I hope that we get a lot of interest from you twin-shock guys, and we want the events to be fun and challenging for everyone. My son competes on a 2008 250 Beta now, and I recently purchased a 1975 KT-250 Kawasaki for him to play on.
