September 25, 200421 yr I saw a pre 65 royal enfiel the other day, it was breath takingly beautiful!!! did people appreciate there good looks at the time or do they get better with age? opinions please. And also why is it pre 65 bikes and not 60 or some other number? Yamaha Dude
September 25, 200421 yr I THINK..its because 1965 was the first "modern" bike. A Bultaco....ridden and designed? by Sammy Miller. SO the "old" bikes are considered before that period. Might be TOTALLY wrong on that..but I think I'm somewhere close
September 25, 200421 yr No stuss you are completely right...andb there is a very comitted scen out there... you should see some of the mods the top lads do...most cubs are 250 at the top these days...and they only ever made a 200....
September 26, 200421 yr The '52 (I think) RE is still being made in India, virtually the same as they were back in the day. Does anybody know if any of these are finding their way into vintage trials?
September 27, 200421 yr Can you imagine looking at this and thinking, I'm going to make a trials bike out of that.
