What Oil Sherco 2.5?

Hi,

My mate has a Sherco 2.5 2008, he has no Idea what gearboxoil to use.

Any suggestions?

    The factory says 10-40 gear oil or equal, this gets confusing though, in the US we use Maxima MTL 75, as with many oils for bikes, uses a different viscosity scale. ;)

    I have a 290 '05 and I use Rock oil(light gear oil) when I can find it or Automatic Transmision Fluid (Dextron 3) when I can't.

    The ATF is a bit 'grabby' though.

    my friend has the same bike , he recomends silkoline light gear oli. its the best oil thats worked in all my bikes also.
