November 28, 200817 yr Just wondering if scorpa are going to produce the 200f for '09 I have had a look on the frech scorpa site and there is no 200f on there, are they stopping production????? anybody out there in the know?
November 28, 200817 yr In conversation at a trial recently and I was told they were going water cooled. I know nothing but I know it's not the way to go. There is nothing wrong with a/c .

NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! , the simplicity of the little beast is half the appeal, hopefully they will see sense and stay with a/c. surely water cooled will mean a change of frame and add more weight with a rad and pump etc, can't see any advantages at all. November 30, 200817 yr Yamaha have a new model, the WR125R - liquid cooled. Bottom end looks like the XT125 and that of the Scorpa 125/200s. So maybe Scorpa will be using the new motor as the basis for their smaller bikes...The new Yamaha motor also has fuel injection, IMHO a quantum leap over a carb.
December 28, 200817 yr I contacted Nigel Birkett over christmas and he says there is an 09 200f. Apparantly its going to have the same spec as the 08!. Im getting quite tempted to try one of these little beasts myself! oh and happy new year everyone (in a few days)

Was chatting at a trial today and they are not rushing to bring anything over due to the strength of the Euro. I would say 09 will see the last of the a/c. Yamaha moving to w/cooling they won't want to be stuck with a/c stock.
December 30, 200817 yr Hi guys I hurd today that they are canning the 200 because its not euro 3 compliant, also they maybe bringing out an electric start 125
