Does anyone know were a guy can find 1976 TL 250 muffler/exhaust or know were to look for a after market system? Thanks, I just got a TL and am looking for places to find all the hard to find TL parts if such a place exists

USA is the place to look, try some bike breakers .

There is a company in New Zealand making reproduction muffler sets. Found one on here on EBay. Sorry dont know the name of the outfit but I am sure you can find it with a bit of searching.

B&J Racing (in the US) got me an aftermarket pipe for mine, and I did see a stock head pipe on ebay recently...I think B&J gets theirs from Europe somewhere...worth a call maybe...In utter desperation I have an old, aftermarket pipe that might be repairable (by a good welder, it is crimped a bit in the front bend...)

Thanks for the help I'll keep on looking. My headpipe is in good shape, it's really the arrester that needs help, the triangle muffler is in good shape but it is all one piece with the arrester. I saw the headpipe on ebay, thats not the part I need. got a list of bike salvage numbers to call. will see
