need to take rear monoshock apart on a ty 250 pinky,shocker needs regassing and coil spring repainting,want to have coil spring painted before i send shocker to be regassed,anyone know where to send shocker for regassing,any help greatly recieved. be patient with me ,first time on forums

May be worth checking with Robin at Falcon Shocks as he services many types of shocks as well as building his own. Chances are he has done a Yam shock in the past.

cheers woody,will have a look into this later and where falcon shocks is located,will have to have the shock dismantled and coil spring sent back for repaint,having it painted with a new paint thats been developed locally,chrome coloured with a hint of black,really looks the part ive had engine casings done already,i think the paints intended for alluminium car wheels,when they get badly scuffed they polish scratches out of wheels and apply this chrome paint ,plain or with a hint of any colour you want,supposed to be really hard waring.cheers for info woody .
