Hi, I started May 08, and I must say how tough trials is, and any MX rider says trials is easy is kidding themselves.

I came from MX as a teenager back in 87 and not ridden a bike since then, but during my racing days I done some trials on an old Sealey Honda in the winter to keep riding, but as a kid you have no fear and no responsibilities etc etc.

Now 41 and have a house a wife and own business things are a bit different than back then, and I now realise how Tough it is to compete and progress at it.

I love a challenge but!! lol I'm doing ok and now Inter B to Intermediate mainly due to my old friend and mentor Roy Beatty.

Also I think that Hopping is a must learn technique, but saying that I have seen many a rider hop and then a dab so it can also get you in trouble too, anyhow what a great sport and a great challenge

cheers
