Wec Canadian Championship

Featured Replies

The first two rounds of the new WEC Canadian Championship Trials Series were held on the May long weekend

in Summerland BC. - With 54 riders on Saturday, 55 on Sunday and 11 for the Vintage on Monday, a good time was had by all.

The winner of the Champ class on both days, was Steve Foord, who recently emigrated from the UK - Steve was well

known as a minder for both Graham Jarvis and Sam Connor. - The Sherco rider soon adapted to the Canadian terrain, and

beat out the top riders from Vancouver and the West coast. Pics and full results can be seen on www.outlawtrials.com.

Hey Dave, how do you layout sections at that venue? Cut a whole in the bottom of the bag and leave them where they fall? What a venue, the sections are just asking to be marked out.

Hey Tim - Yes it's a great area. and one we have used for about 20 years - finding lines through the same

sections for six classes proved to be quite a challenge this year, but it all worked out great.

Steve, I see Matt got pipped by a couple of dabs for 1st place.

Craig, yes! He rode his heart out after just recovering from a severe stomach virus. YOu can go to www.mattfracy.com to read the full story, plus the story to come tonight from this past weekends PNTA championship ride!!! He did have the lowest loop score in his class both days, and the most cleans as well on day two! Oh and by far the youngest rider in Intermediate class. Very proud of him!

Top job Matt! Now you have more experience and a good idea whoot dad was referring to when travelling! Happens to the best!

Thanks for that Copey!!!! Matt is riding very well right now. We are going back East to complete the series and Matt has a real chance at winning his first Natioal Championship...Only a few pts out of 1st overall right now! The new 125 Raga should be quite a boost too!!!
