The RAL code for a James red is - 3005 wine red - and he nearest aerosol match is - Rover Damask Red- . These are the codes and paints recommended at http://www.simplywizard.co.uk/index.htm and can be seen on photos of my James which can be seen in the TC Garage.

Hi Tim, many thanks for the code etc. Now about your bike. My first trails bike is what you have there and I rode it for about a year then changed it for a DOT. You've made a terrific job of the rebuild and I tell you that if you ever consider selling it you may be able to pursuade me!! Sentimental old clod that I am. Thanks again. jt.
