July 10, 200917 yr Evening all. Kinda new to trials bikes, so after advice already!! Just bought '76 TY250 as a project. Anyone any clues as to the contact gaps on the Magneto? No spark on kickstart you see. Any help much appreciated!
July 11, 200917 yr Hi,Just checked in the owner's manual for a Ty250A, point gap is 0.3 to 0.4mm.Timing 3.1m+ or- 0.15. Check that anything that needs to be grounded is,also clean the points with emery cloth while your at it. Good luck Mal.
