August 1, 200917 yr Have just purchased a TL 250 1975 Model after looking for over 8 years , I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any difference between the 75 & 76 apart from the colour of the side cover decals (on the 75 they are Red & Orange and the 76 they are just Orange) any info on TL's would be much appreciated, also as I will be restoring this bike slowly does anyone know if you can do anything to bring the alloy cases of the engine back to shiny again, I have been told of using a very light wire brush on a drill to buff them but am not sure ..... August 1, 200917 yr Any chance of posting one or two 'before' photos for those of us who harbour thoughts of doing a similar restoration.
August 3, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the quick replys, Autosol sounds like a good start thanks B40RT, I will check about the Vapour blasting as well Woody as that obviously sounds like a motor out and pulled apart and off to the blasting shop type job, motomike I have just found out that the motors were painted as new and did not know that so thanks, and I would put some photo's on here Ross but when I click insert image in edit it asks for a URL, I thought I might be able to just drag and drop the photo's?? any help on how to insert photo's would be great Cheers rock1 Edited August 3, 200917 yr by rock1
