October 18, 200916 yr Hello Fellas, i have just bought and 06 250. Before I trial the bike I am tearing it down and greasing linkages etc,and generaly checking over all aspects. could anyone give me advice on pre-mix radios, gearbox fluid levels and generaly any specific areas I should be paying attention to. October 18, 200916 yr Hi not long sold my sherco 250, i run mine on a premix of 75ml of two stroke to 5 ltrs of fuel. You will need to put 450ml of gear box oil in, i used light weight gear oil and changed it every 2/3 rides. I would make sure you grease the dog arm bearings up really well as they will squeak other wise!!! Also i used to put a bit of gaffa tape where the rear mud guard meat up with the air box i found the stopped a lot of the krap getting into the air box. Other than that nothing else really to mention you should be fine:)
