November 9, 200916 yr Hi All, Just got my lads (aged 4 and 7) an Oset 16.0. All is going well, but..... the diameter of the grips is M-A-S-S-I-V-E. I can hardly get my hands round them! Has anyone used any [smaller] alternatives??? Ta, David
November 9, 200916 yr I just bought Renthal grips - seem the thinnest, cut the originals off, glued the Renthals on, cut off the excess length on the ends and bolted in a pair of ally bar ends. Nothing hard about it Or did I miss something obvious?

Nothing hard about it Or did I miss something obvious? I was told by the dealer the grips & throttle body were moulded as one, but that's aload of bull. The fat grips just cut off like any other bike. I've done exactly the same as you and my son can now pull the brakes.
