December 29, 200916 yr I wonder if anyone can help me with some information. I am writing an article for the owners club magazine for a Pre'65 trials bike I inherited from my late father. I remember he took it to an off-road show at Alton Towers in the early 1980's and I think won the concours award for pre-65 trials bikes. I am interested if anyone can confirm the year, the show must have been before May 1985 because I rode it in the Pre'65 Scottish, after which it was no longer concours condition. Thanks in advance.
December 29, 200916 yr A small clue as to what the bike is might help people to assist with which year it was? The Trentham Gardens show ran for a number of years.
December 30, 200916 yr Author I thought the concours competition only ran for one year but the bike was a Douglas Comp, so quite unusual.
