January 8, 201016 yr my ty175 is reving to high on tick over and the tick over screw does not stop it any ideas any body,,,,thanks tom
January 8, 201016 yr more than likely drawing air from the inlet side check all your connections and the rubber inlet manifold
January 8, 201016 yr I presume the slide is seated at the bottom of the carb? If not then the cable would need adjustment. Sorry if this sounds simple but it can be easily missed.
January 8, 201016 yr Just to add to the checks with regards the too much air, where the oil lube system connects to the carb, if this has been removed I have known the pipe not to be blocked off as it should be. This would cause the high revs.
January 8, 201016 yr Is it weather related? ice? in cable even in carb at seat of slide..once had that on a gas gas ..think of the windchill factor
