Unfortunately we've now had to cancel the Trial due to be held at Holgate on the 24th of January. There's still an awful lot of snow on the ground which will make marking out impossible & then even if it does thaw the ground will be waterlogged. That's three main events we've lost on the trot, I hope we can put something on in February.

What is this trial like Perce? How many laps/sections etc? I have heard it runs up near cold knuckles, is that right?

Normally runs two laps of 15 sections & it normally goes up Cold Knuckles but I'm not sure what they're planning to do this year, I'm not involved with marking out this Trial.

I was out & about elsewhere in Swaledale yesterday & I can say that there's still an awful lot of snow about.
