im thinking of getting rid of my well used 2005 beta 250 to get a very tidy almost mint 2002 sherco i like the look and ease to work on of the sherco but are the parts easy to get a cheap ish ?

What do you all think ? am i mad ? I could be a older but better condition bike and 500 quid better off ?

I think I'd look for a 2006 Sherco instead, I wouldn't be paying more for a older bike unless it was classic status. The 2006 bikes are quite a improvement over the 2002 bikes especially on the engine and suspension front.

Regarding spare parts they are very easy to purchase on the internet and probably around the same price or maybe slightly cheaper than the beta parts.
