March 28, 201016 yr want to change the oil on my mono would light gear oil be ok in the engine if so how much to put in or has any one used ATF as i use this in my gasgas pro
March 28, 201016 yr I used ATF in my mono and i think i put 850ml in. It had no ill efect and made the clutch very light with know slipping... hope that helps a bit....

April 1, 201016 yr From experince multi-/single grade for TYR (OT and KTM with Rekluse..) The only oil that works for my TYR gb/clutch is single grade 30w mineral (well, modern mineral contains "emu-cleaner" BUT.....) cheers,
April 3, 201016 yr Author just spoke to a few trials shop they all say the same put light gear oil in 800cc the say that the engine will run on ATF but would not recommend it. But as MIKEE said his bike runs fine on it and his clutch works great so i think i will have a go with the ATF first see how it goes and it is thinner and should lube the small end bearing better
